About the Role

Luxor's sales team is organized into specialist pods, and one person owns each pod's revenue. We're hiring the person who will own Mining Pool & Firmware, the core of Luxor's Bitcoin mining business.

• Luxor Mining Pool has operated since 2017 and serves institutional miners with >50 EH/s across BTC, LTC, DOGE and ZEC. It offers FPPS payouts, fixed and upfront payout options, and SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II controls, and it has paid 35,000+ BTC to miners in 113 countries.

• LuxOS is our custom ASIC firmware for Antminer and WhatsMiner fleets. Per-domain autotuning, power targeting and fast curtailment help operators get more hashrate per joule and respond to the grid. Paired with Luxor Pool, it gives miners one integrated stack.

This is a mature, competitive market. Winning here means displacing incumbents at a fee that makes money and respects the quality of our product. We care about profitable market share, not market share at any price.

What you'll do

• Own Pool & Firmware revenue and the quarterly targets you agree with leadership.

• Hunt and close new hashrate: public miners, large private operators, hosting providers and international fleets.

• Lead commercial negotiations on pool fees, firmware fee tiers, payout structures and referral partnerships, while protecting margin.

• Run firmware pilots end to end with our customer success and firmware engineering teams, and turn test results into signed fleet-wide deployments.

• Build the partner channel: hosting providers, repair shops, resellers and referral partners who bring hashrate with them.

• Bundle across the stack (Pool, LuxOS, Commander, hashrate derivatives) to win deals that single-product competitors can't.

• Spend 80%+ of your time external: customer sites, industry events, in-person meetings.

• Keep a clean pipeline and forecast in HubSpot, and bring competitive intelligence back to product.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in B2B sales, business development or commercial roles, with a record of deals you personally sourced and closed.

• Bitcoin mining industry experience: you understand pools (FPPS vs. PPS vs. PPLNS), ASICs, hashprice and fleet economics, and you know the major players.

• An existing network among mining operators is a strong plus.

• Experience with firmware, mining infrastructure or hosting is a plus.

• A strong negotiator who can hold a price and walk away from a bad deal.

• Willingness to work in office in Miami or SF and travel regularly to customer sites and industry events.

This role is for you if

• You've won business against entrenched incumbents and know how to make switching feel low-risk.

• You want to own a product line, not just a territory.

This role is not for you if

• You prefer to set strategy and hand deals to someone else to close.

What we offer

• Competitive base plus uncapped, gross-profit-based commission.

• Ownership of Luxor's core business line, with direct access to leadership.

• The broadest product stack in mining to build deals with.

• Health, dental and vision, 401(k) matching and unlimited PTO.

How we use AI in our hiring process

We use AI tools to support certain parts of our hiring process, and we believe in being transparent about how they’re used.

During your application, AI may assist in reviewing CVs, qualifications, and assignments by providing additional insights, but it does not make decisions, every application is evaluated at each step by a member of our hiring team.

We also use AI to transcribe interviews so our team can stay focused on the conversation rather than note-taking. Any voice recordings are automatically deleted within 15 days.

In addition, AI helps us keep candidates informed about their application status and helps us understand how our process is working so we can improve it over time.

In all cases, AI is used to support efficiency and consistency, not to replace human judgment. If you have any questions about how we use these tools or your data, or if you would prefer to opt out of any of these features, please include them in the dedicated section of the application form, and we’ll follow up accordingly.
