Senior Power Apps Developer (Power Platform + Power BI)

Responsibilities

• - Design and develop scalable Canvas and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps to automate complex business processes and eliminate manual operations. - Implement advanced business logic, validations, and calculations using Power Fx. - Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, Snowflake, Azure SQL, SQL Server, REST APIs, and external enterprise systems. - Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate, including approval processes, notifications, escalations, and scheduled integrations. - Build end-to-end Power Platform solutions by integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. - Create interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI tracking solutions using DAX, data modeling, and drill-through functionality. - Embed Power BI reports within Power Apps to provide real-time analytics and support data-driven decision-making. - Utilize Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse and develop optimized SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for application and reporting needs. - Leverage Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake for data ingestion, transformation, and integration across enterprise systems. - Develop secure, scalable cloud-based solutions while ensuring compliance with Power Platform governance standards. - Implement role-based security, environment management, solution deployment, and release management strategies across Development, UAT, and Production environments. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions; provide technical documentation, user training, demonstrations, and ongoing support.

Must have

• The role requires advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on the creation and management of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps. Candidates must proficiently apply Power Fx for app development, utilize Dataverse for data storage, and manage Power Platform connectors. Experience in deploying and maintaining Power Platform solutions is essential. In addition, the role demands strong capabilities in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and creating DAX measures. The ability to develop KPIs, comprehensive reports, and integrate Power BI with Power Apps is fundamental. Expertise in database and data platforms is required, particularly with Snowflake and SQL. Candidates should demonstrate skill in writing complex queries involving joins, views, and stored procedures. Proficiency with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake, is necessary to support data integration and management tasks. Integration skills are critical, with emphasis on API integrations and multi-source data integration to ensure seamless data workflows. Soft skills include gathering detailed business requirements and managing stakeholder relationships effectively. Knowledge of Power Platform governance and security practices is mandatory, including the implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
