Logos - Principal Product Manager, User Lifecycle & Monetization (US)
About Logos:
Logos is a purpose-driven tech company dedicated to building technology solutions that equip the Church to grow in the light of the Bible. Our team is committed to increasing biblical literacy and accessibility for every Christian around the world. We do so by delivering value along three fronts: software tools, community collaboration, and rich digital content. Logos’ solutions portfolio connects users to the Word and to their communities. Based in Bellingham, Washington, Logos also has operations in Puebla, Mexico.
About the Role:
Logos is transitioning to a SaaS-led business model and seeks a Principal Product Manager, User Lifecycle & Monetization to own the end-to-end user journey, from acquisition and activation to subscription retention, content purchases, and long-term lifetime value (LTV).
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will define the user lifecycle framework, establish company-wide priorities and success metrics, and lead cross-functional experimentation to improve activation, conversion, retention, and monetization. The primary focus is individual users (B2C), with a secondary focus on users served through churches, schools, and ministries (B2B2C).
Responsibilities
- Own the user lifecycle strategy: Define user cohorts, personas, lifecycle stages, milestones, and success metrics across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion.
- Drive business outcomes: Improve customer LTV, subscription renewals, free-to-paid conversion, content purchases, and user activation.
- Lead experimentation: Manage the experiment backlog, design and analyze A/B tests, and rapidly prototype and launch improvements with a dedicated development pod.
- Establish operating rhythms: Set quarterly lifecycle priorities, align product, marketing, content, and data teams, and report progress against company-wide metrics.
- Build data-driven insights: Partner with analytics and product operations to develop cohort analysis, LTV models, funnels, dashboards, and reliable lifecycle tracking.
- Optimize the end-to-end experience: Improve onboarding, habit formation, personalization, in-app purchases, churn prevention, winback, and institutional user activation.
- Influence product strategy: Inform pricing, packaging, subscriptions, and cross-platform lifecycle initiatives using customer research and experimentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management, growth, or lifecycle experience in SaaS or subscription businesses, including 3+ years leading lifecycle, growth, or retention initiatives.
- Proven success building a company-wide lifecycle framework and improving retention, monetization, and customer expansion—not just acquisition.
- Experience with freemium and subscription models combined with transactional purchases, digital content, or mobile in-app purchases.
- Strong analytical skills, including SQL, cohort analysis, LTV modeling, product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude), and A/B testing.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and analysts, and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to balance B2C and B2B2C user needs and communicate complex strategies clearly across an organization.
- Regular use of AI tools for product development, rapid prototyping, and experimentation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with jobs-to-be-done research, user personas, and personalization.
- Familiarity with Logos Bible Software, Proclaim, Christian technology, or digital publishing.
- Understanding of Bible study, Christian theology, and the needs of churches, educational institutions, and Christian organizations.
