ABOUT NSIGHT HEALTH
Nsight Health is one of the fastest-growing remote care companies in the United States. We deliver fully managed Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), Principal Care Management (PCM), and Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) programs to physician practices, health systems, and employer groups nationwide.
Our model is turnkey and risk-free. We handle patient enrollment, FDA-cleared device logistics, 24/7 monitoring by W2-employed licensed nurses, CMS-compliant documentation, and billing support. Practices pay nothing upfront and are reimbursed only when programs perform. The result is a compelling, low-friction ROI story that generates strong close rates when delivered by the right sales team.
We sell to and through physician practices, multi-specialty groups, health systems, EHR platforms, and RCM companies. Both direct and channel sales ecosystems are core to how we grow.
POSITION SUMMARY
The VP of Sales is the most important growth hire Nsight Health will make this year, and this is a selling job first. You will carry the sales team's full quota personally, not just your own number. Deals signing across the entire team is your primary responsibility, and it is the measure this role is held to.
You will carry your own book of business and close it directly, including complex, multi-stakeholder deals, relationship and referral partnerships, and channel partner agreements. You will also work inside every rep's pipeline: joining live calls with the SDR team to coach demo-setting and meeting-setting technique in real time and improve their metrics, jumping into Account Executives' deals to close them personally, and running a standing review of stalled opportunities across the team to get them signed. When a deal stalls on an objection, a budget concern, or any other reason a prospect gives for not buying, removing that blocker is your job, not a coaching note for someone else to act on.
This is a player-coach role in practice, not only in title. You have carried a bag, you know how to close, and the majority of your time is spent live on calls and inside deals, not behind a dashboard.
You will lead a team of SDRs, Account Executives and Senior Account Executives selling across independent practices, multi-specialty groups, health systems, and channel partners. You will bring structural rigor to GTM execution, drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Product, and Operations, and push the organization to compete and win at scale.
AI Fluency Requirement - Non-Negotiable Nsight Health is an AI-first organization. Every member of our leadership and operations team is expected to actively use AI tools in their day-to-day work - not as a novelty, but as a core productivity multiplier. This role requires genuine curiosity about AI, comfort experimenting with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and workflow automation platforms, and the judgment to know when AI helps and when it doesn't. If AI makes you uncomfortable, this is not the right role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Player-Coach Selling & Deal Leadership
Carry and personally close a book of complex deals, relationship and referral partnerships, and channel partner agreements, in addition to leading the team.
Own total team quota attainment as the primary success metric for this role. Deals signing, across the whole team, is the job.
Join live calls with the SDR team that is setting demos and meetings, coaching in real time to improve their conversion metrics.
Jump into Account Executives' deals at any stage and close them personally when a deal needs it.
Run a standing review of stalled and stuck deals across the pipeline, and personally drive them to close rather than only flagging them for the AE.
Identify and remove blockers to signing, including objections, budget concerns, procurement and legal friction, or any other reason a prospect gives for not buying, wherever they surface in the pipeline.
GTM Execution & Market Expansion
Drive market share expansion across independent physician practices, multi-specialty groups, health systems, employer groups, EHR platforms, RCM companies, and billing aggregators.
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial discovery through negotiation and contract execution, modeling the consultative approach the team is expected to replicate.
Master and deploy Nsight Health's ROI narrative, helping practices understand how RPM and CCM programs generate incremental revenue per provider with zero upfront cost and zero operational burden.
Identify, prioritize, and penetrate high-value target accounts with urgency and precision; develop territory and vertical strategy that accelerates the company's market leadership position.
Represent Nsight Health at key industry events and building executive relationships that generate durable pipeline and referral networks.
Channel and Partner Sales
Build and manage a channel sales motion in partnership with EHR platforms, RCM companies, clearinghouses, and billing aggregators who serve the same physician and health system buyers Nsight Health targets.
Develop co-selling frameworks, enablement materials, and joint go-to-market strategies that allow channel and referral partners to confidently position and introduce Nsight Health's programs.
Own partner pipeline visibility and hold channel and referral relationships to the same conversion accountability standards as the direct team.
Team Leadership & Performance
Lead and develop a team of Account Executives and Senior Account Executives selling across diverse medical market segments, setting elite standards for performance, accountability, and professional growth.
Run structured weekly pipeline reviews, monthly performance evaluations, and real-time coaching grounded in data, not instinct alone.
Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent; identify underperformers early and make clear, decisive personnel decisions with speed and fairness.
Build a team culture that combines high accountability with genuine ownership, where winning is expected, celebrated, and continuously raised as the standard.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing to ensure messaging, lead generation, and content are tightly aligned with what is actually moving buyers at the practice and health system level.
Work with Product and Clinical Operations to feed field intelligence back into service design, identifying objections, gaps, and competitive dynamics that should inform how the company builds and positions.
Align with Revenue Operations and Finance on forecasting accuracy, pipeline hygiene, quota-setting, and compensation design that motivates the right behaviors.
Serve as a key voice in executive strategy discussions, translating frontline market reality into leadership-level insights and recommendations.
Revenue Operations & Analytics
Own the numbers at every level: pipeline coverage ratios, stage-by-stage conversion rates, average contract value, sales cycle velocity, CAC, and LTV across both direct and channel motions.
Build and maintain CRM discipline across the team, ensuring data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and the reporting infrastructure needed to run the business by the numbers.
Use AI tools and automation to build accountability systems, flag pipeline risk early, and create leverage that lets the team operate at maximum capacity.
Present clear, narrative-driven performance reports to the CEO and leadership team, with analysis, diagnosis, and a clear point of view on what to do next.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10 or more years of B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role within healthcare, healthtech, and remote care.
Background in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and/or Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs.
Working understanding of EMR systems and how they intersect with clinical workflow and program adoption.
Experience selling to outpatient physician groups and nurses.
Experience selling to medical billing companies.
Strong familiarity with revenue cycle management (RCM) and medical billing, either through directly selling deals in this space or through deep working knowledge of RCM and billing workflows.
Demonstrated track record of scaling a revenue organization through growth stages, with direct experience operating and executing at that level.
Proven ability to lead and develop a sophisticated team of Account Executives and Senior AEs across complex, consultative sales to physician practices and healthcare organizations.
Direct experience selling to physician practice owners, medical directors, practice administrators, or similar decision-makers, with an understanding of how independent and group practices buy and what motivates them.
History of personally carrying and exceeding a quota while simultaneously owning the entire team's number. The player-coach model, including closing other reps' deals directly, is not new to you.
Experience building or managing a channel or partner sales motion alongside a direct sales team.
High AI fluency: active, working knowledge of AI tools in your daily professional workflow.
Strong analytical ability: you can read a pipeline funnel, diagnose conversion problems without prompting, and build the reporting infrastructure your team needs to perform.
Continuous learner: you study the craft of sales and set that expectation for the people around you.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Existing relationships with practice administrators, medical directors, or physician group owners across primary care, cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, or other chronic-condition-heavy specialties.
Familiarity with CMS reimbursement frameworks for RPM and CCM, including CPT code structures and Medicare billing requirements. You do not need to be a billing expert, but you need to speak the language fluently enough to build credibility with practice buyers.
Experience building or scaling a channel sales motion through EHR vendors, RCM companies, or practice management platforms.
Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth company environment where speed, precision, and accountability were non-negotiable.
Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce CRM architecture and advanced sales automation tooling.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & TRAVEL
This is a fully remote position. Closing healthcare deals often requires presence, and your team will look to you to model that standard.
