We are a nimble, fast-paced, innovative team with the opportunity to make an outsized impact on the business and the industry.

Liquibase is hiring a Customer Success Leader to lead and scale our Customer Success organization, with direct oversight of our Customer Success Account Executives, who own the customer relationship, renewal, and expansion motion.

This is a leadership role for someone who can build repeatable processes, develop high-performing managers and individual contributors, and act as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, and Engineering. You'll be accountable for net revenue retention, customer health, and the overall customer experience across our post-sale journey.

• Account Strategy: Define and oversee account management strategy that transforms underutilized customers into fully adopted, expanding accounts.
• Risk Management: Identify at-risk accounts early and execute risk mitigation plans to protect ARR.
• Executive Relationships: Foster strong, multi-threaded relationships with technical executives (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Database leaders), translating database DevOps benefits into business outcomes.
• Adoption Excellence: Ensure customers fully utilize their subscriptions by reducing typical 4-6 month implementation timelines and driving systematic team-by-team adoption.
• Voice of the Customer: Act as liaison between customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Product, Support), providing insights that drive product innovation and customer success.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of experience in an Account Management leadership role
• Proven track record owning and driving net revenue retention, renewals, and expansion revenue in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
• Prior experience as an individual contributor Account Manager with successful results in expansions and high retention rates
• Strong operational chops: comfortable building playbooks, dashboards, and forecasting models, and using data to drive decisions
• Excellent executive presence — able to engage credibly with customer executives and internal leadership alike
• Experience selling to Engineering Leaders in large Enterprises
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Located in the United States

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in DevOps, database, infrastructure, or developer tooling markets

Perks of life at Liquibase:

• Remote-first culture, potential for company-wide in-person gatherings
• Home office allowance for remote workers
• Meaningful equity
