Senior Data & Cloud Engineer (GCP)

In this role, you will contribute to the development and operation of a modern data platform, working with GTM (Google Tag Manager) data and taking ownership of both data engineering and cloud/platform engineering topics.

You are a hands-on and autonomous engineer who can design, build, and improve scalable solutions within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

Your role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on GCP
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows
• Design, implement, and operate solutions using Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Design, implement, tune, and operate Google Bigtable
• Develop production-grade applications and data pipelines using Scala and/or Java
• Contribute to cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps best practices
• Perform technical design reviews and contribute to architectural and technical decision-making
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Product Teams, and other technical stakeholders
