Python Data - Fullstack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer to take full ownership of delivering end-to-end TPP features to production. In this role, you will bridge the gap between user experience and enterprise data infrastructure, working across the React UI, robust FastAPI microservices, and our SQL/BigQuery data layer on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features from inception and testing all the way to production deployment on GCP.

• Build responsive, performant front-end interfaces using TypeScript and React.

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI following contract-first principles.

• Manage relational schemas, version-controlled data models, and migrations in SQL.

• Deliver services securely within enterprise network boundaries on GCP (Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager, SSO/OAuth).

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and product stakeholders, to translate complex technical/data requirements into clean software.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• 4+ years of fullstack development experience, featuring deep expertise in Python (FastAPI) and strong proficiency in TypeScript / React.

• API Design: Hands-on experience with contract-first REST design (OpenAPI, Pydantic), API versioning, and rigorous input/output validation.

• Relational Data & SQL: Proven track record with schema design, versioned data modeling, and migration tooling (PostgreSQL or similar).

• Enterprise Cloud (GCP): Practical experience deploying and managing workloads on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager) within secure corporate network perimeters.

• Enterprise Integrations: Proven implementation of SSO/OAuth authentication and consumption of governed upstream data products via APIs.

Testing & CI/CD: Solid grasp of automated testing (pytest, Playwright), CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Feature Ownership: A self-starter mindset with total accountability for the delivery lifecycle.

• Communication: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and clear, articulate communication across both technical and domain-expert audiences.

Nice to Have

• BigQuery Expertise: Hands-on experience with Authorized Views, query performance optimization, and cost-aware data retrieval.

• Familiarity with Data Contracts and modern Data Governance practices.
