OVERVIEW: The Truck Driver position involves the safe and efficient operation of a Dump Truck for the transportation of materials and heavy equipment to and from our jobsites.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

- Must possess Class A CDL

- Participates in and promotes our Company Safety Program.

- Willing and able to work long hours when needed.

- Driving the truck to and from the job site for the delivery of equipment and/or materials

- Transfer of HMA from the Truck into the Paver or MTV hopper, coordinating with Paver or MTV Operator

- Skilled at equipment hauling

- Keep truck and trailer clean and free of loose materials

- Loading, securing, and unloading equipment onto, and from, equipment trailers in the yard and at the jobsite

- Communicates with the Superintendent/Dispatcher/onsite Foreman to define onsite expectations

- Follows all FMSCA rules and regulations

- Completes daily inspection reports utilizing the ELD to meet requirements and log hours of service

- Practices pride in ownership towards vehicles, equipment, and worksite conditions

- Upholds the ideals of the Lakeside mission statement

- Other duties as assigned as a part of a team

Requirements

Must be willing to join or be a current member of Teamsters in good standing. One (1) to three (3) years or more of industry related experience preferred (emphasis on paving, roads, highway, and bridges). Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
