Labcorp is seeking an Executive Director, Business Development to join our Hospitals & Health Systems Division. This role will drive growth through digital pathology, AI-enabled diagnostics, and innovative laboratory partnerships while building executive relationships and expanding long-term health system collaborations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and new health system partnerships through digital pathology, AI-enabled diagnostics, innovative pathology services, and related healthcare solutions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including the Digital Pathology Steering Committee, to commercialize and expand digital pathology offerings.
- Develop and execute strategic business development, sales, and market growth plans that address the evolving needs of health systems and pathology groups.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across health systems, hospitals, and pathology organizations, including C-suite leaders, physician executives, and department stakeholders.
- Identify, negotiate, and close complex partnership agreements while expanding long-term strategic relationships.
- Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to shape strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Utilize data and analytics to forecast performance, optimize account strategies, and drive business results.
- Demonstrate expertise in hospital laboratory operations, pathology services, healthcare technology platforms, and health system decision-making processes.
- Deliver consultative, value-based solutions through effective listening, strategic problem-solving, and customer-focused communication.
- Lead productive virtual and in-person engagements that accelerate decision-making and achieve desired business outcomes.
- Operate effectively within a matrixed organization while fostering collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree
- 10 or more years executive-level selling experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- 5 or more years executive-level selling experience within the laboratory or healthcare industry
Additional Job Standards:
- Proven healthcare sales experience.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms
- Strong executive presence, communication, and self-awareness.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in digital communication and social media
- Strong research, planning, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to deliver professional presentations to senior audiences.
- Business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Networking, prospect qualification, and incremental closing skills.

- Results-driven, resourceful, and action-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize competing interests to achieve maximum impact
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel overnight as needed.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $200,000
