Joining Kinro means contributing to a fast-growing startup dedicated to making insurance more accessible and transparent. **Role Description** As Waymo hires some drivers Kinro is hiring some producers and account executive. This job is at the frontier of both where the Founding Insurance Producer will be a full-time, remote team member, responsible for building and growing Kinro’s commercial insurance book of business while helping handle new prospects and teaching our system how to become autonomous. Day-to-day, this role will prospect and qualify small business clients, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions across lines such as general liability, property, and workers compensation while using Arrakis, the unique insurance system built by Kinro. The producer will prepare quotes, present proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through binding and renewal. This role will collaborate closely with the director of insurance Robert and the COO Corentin. Ongoing responsibilities include maintaining strong client relationships, handling policy changes and renewals, and representing Kinro in local business communities and industry networks. **Qualifications** * Insurance skills * Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain complex concepts clearly, and support clients throughout the policy lifecycle. * Candidates should possess a valid Property & Casualty insurance license plus familiarity with commercial lines underwriting and carrier appetites. * Candidates should possess the ability to work effectively in a startup environment, including comfort with ambiguity, ownership mindset, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Prior experience serving small business clients, and exposure to technology-driven insurance platforms are beneficial.
