Digital PR Manager

Are you looking to take the next step in your PR career in a fast paced agency setting? Do you have an eye on the news agenda, and a passion for turning great ideas into nationwide stories? We’re seeking a PR manager to join our integrated content marketing department working across our growing portfolio of ecommerce, retail, interior and professional services brands.

This role focusses largely on PR and authority building, working closely with our SEO teams to drive visibility across traditional and AI search through targeted digital tactics. You’ll be leading client PR strategies, running brainstorms and crafting idea pitches, before owning reporting to make sure the numbers are going in the right way.

You’ll also be line managing a talented PR executive, who will support on drafting press releases, outreaching to journalists, and keeping a keen eye on what’s trending in the media to get our clients in the headlines. You’ll also occasionally use copy writing skills to support the team across social media and written content.

You’ll bring a solid understanding of PR activity helping to build brand awareness, secure brilliant coverage and drive engagement through creative and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead client accounts and deliver PR campaigns through content creation, data analysis, media outreach and trend-led storytelling

· Identify reactive opportunities and cultural trends to enhance client visibility

· Support and execute social and PR strategies aligned with client objectives

· Create engaging, high-performing content informed by platform best practices

· Monitor performance using reporting, PR measurement and social analytics tools, providing actionable insights

· Support media relations activity, including drafting press content, building media lists and liaising with journalists

· Collaborate with internal teams to brief and refine creative output

· Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Experience Sought

· Strong understanding of PR fundamentals and a passion for identifying and discussing cultural events and news

· 3-4 years of PR experience either in house or in an agency setting

· Working understading of SEO and GEO preferential but not essential

· A creative thinker with a proven track record of pitching and delivering ideas that fly with press

· A natural trend-spotter with a strong awareness of memes, culture, and media opportunities

· Experience using reporting, scheduling, and analytics tools including platforms such as Meltwater, ResponseSource or similar

· Confidence briefing and providing feedback on creative content

· Experience working with clients or internal stakeholders

Key proficiencies required:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience writing for online channels and platforms, ideally press and web copy, or social channels where applicable is beneficial

· Good analytical ability and attention to detail

Desirable (but not necessary) proficiencies:

· Experience with both B2C and B2B markets
