As a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client within the Global Markets Technology sector. You will contribute to developing and supporting critical financial applications, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role offers a unique chance to work on impactful projects that drive digital transformation in the financial industry.
Your main responsibilities:
Collaborate within a team of 4–6 members and a dedicated product owner to deliver iterative features into production.
Analyze business requirements, break them down into stories, and implement solutions accordingly.
Provide ongoing support for deployed applications, embracing a 'build it, support it' philosophy.
Identify areas of technical debt and balance efforts between new functionality and system health.
Design compliant solutions for new features, adhering to technology standards and constraints.
Pair with team members to enhance code quality and knowledge sharing.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
At least 3 years of experience in software development, ideally within financial technology.
Demonstrable experience in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript/React (client & server).
Good understanding of Unix environments and database concepts from a consumer perspective.
Familiarity with HTTP APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).
Proficiency in Git and SQL.
Willingness to learn multiple programming languages.
Good command of English (team communication is in English).
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience with JavaScript/React.
Experience with Kotlin.
Language required for the role:
Communicative level of English.
