This entry-level role suits students or recent graduates: Python is required, Odoo experience is nice to have. We will show you how to use and customise Odoo in practice. You will not be learning on a toy system. Iris Galerie runs on Odoo v19 with dozens of custom modules, multiple companies and hundreds of users in one database - a manufacturing and retail operation where the shop floor stops if the system fails. You will see more in a year here than in three years on a standard implementation. Key responsibilitiesImplement simple changes in custom Odoo modules under supervision - Python business logic, models, basic viewsInvestigate and reproduce user-reported issues (sales, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing) and write them up clearly enough that a senior developer can act without a follow-up conversationAnswer internal user questions, explain basic system behaviour, and assist with small configuration or data correctionsSupport data import/export tasks (CSV/XLSX) and simple data cleanup using Odoo tools and basic PostgreSQLAdd automated tests to modules that lack themFollow team guidelines for Git workflow, branch usage and code reviewWork daily in Odoo.sh: check builds, review logs, deploy to dev and staging branches, and test changes before they reach production (production deployments are approved and run by a senior developer - you will be involved, but you will not be alone with the button)Requirements - Must-havesSolid Python basics: data structures, functions, classes, exceptions, modulesAbility to read and understand existing Python code, and willingness to learn the Odoo framework step by stepBasic SQL (preferably PostgreSQL): simple SELECTs, filters, joinsComfort with MacOS Terminal / Linux Shell - running commands, reading logs, and checking processesGood communication skills, and willingness to talk to non-technical users about their problemsComfortable with using and challenging AI in your daily workEnglish sufficient for reading documentation; Polish and English for daily team communicationWillingness to say 'I don't understand this yet' in front of the teamNice to haveAny exposure to Odoo or another ERP/CRM, as a user or through university projectsExperience in using GitBasic understanding of REST APIs and JSON, or the willingness to learnWhat we offerTraining on Odoo, starting from functional usage and moving into technical topicsPath from Junior Odoo Python Developer to Odoo Developer, in a real manufacturing and retail businessDaily work on Odoo.sh with modern tooling, mentored by more experienced teamExposure to production systems at a scale most juniors never get nearEquipment you need to make the magic happenWhat success looks like after six monthsYou can take a problem report from a gallery, reproduce it on staging, fix it, get it reviewed and see it deployed - without needing someone to point you at the right file.
