iOS Developer

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join the Esti team and take ownership of features end-to-end – from clarifying requirements with Product, Design, and Analytics to designing the technical solution, estimating and breaking down tasks, implementation, stabilization, and release.

Esti (https://esti.app/) is our mobile product for creators and bloggers, focused on helping users create and edit engaging visual content. It’s part of our product ecosystem alongside our main app, Prequel (https://prequel.app/), a mobile photo and video editor.

You’ll work on a product with complex client-side logic, monetization, dynamic and remotely configurable experiences, and AI-powered workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own product tasks end-to-end: clarify requirements, design technical solutions, decompose and estimate work, implement, stabilize, and release;
• Improve the core user flow – from app launch to the first successful edit;
• Work on monetization features, including subscriptions and in-app currency;
• Develop and improve editor features and user experiences;
• Build dynamic and remotely configurable screens and business logic;
• Take an active part in improving development and testing processes and engineering practices;
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other iOS developers;
• Contribute to the overall technical expertise and evolution of the iOS team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial iOS development with Swift;
• Experience working with large codebases and modular architectures;
• Experience in product teams and ownership of features from idea to release;
• Strong experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit;
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Structured Concurrency and StoreKit 2;
• Advanced, hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude and Cursor;
• Experience creating skills, documentation, and workflows for AI agents;
• Regular use of AI agents for day-to-day engineering tasks and problem solving;
• Experience with third-party MCPs to improve development workflows;
• Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and take ownership of outcomes;
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities;
• Curiosity and a strong desire to improve both the product and the way the team works.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Photos / PhotoKit and AVFoundation.
• Experience with unit and UI testing.
• Experience working on apps with complex business logic on the client side.
• Experience solving non-standard or technically challenging problems.
• Personal interest in photo/video editing, content creation, blogging, or similar areas.
