Software Engineer, Backend Mission Services (Prime)

Software Engineer, Backend Mission Services

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At Intelliforce, we build backend services that help analysts get a complete, reliable view of mission data. In this role, you will support the prime program, a backend platform designed to provide compliant storage and access for analytic results while exposing APIs that support broader enterprise outcomes.

You will work on the design, development, maintenance, and operation of secure backend services that integrate with analytic systems and presentation tools across the enterprise. Your work will sit at the center of Java development, microservices, APIs, containerized environments, data access, and production operations.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

This role gives you the chance to work on a backend platform that directly supports how analytic results are stored, accessed, and shared across the mission environment.

You will build and sustain Java and Spring microservices, work in Kubernetes-based environments, support production monitoring, and help maintain the APIs that connect ANSWERLAKE with other analytic and presentation systems. The environment also gives you exposure to CI/CD, data indexing, NiFi-based ingestion, and cloud infrastructure.

At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment matters. Because we support prime programs, our engineers stay close to meaningful mission work and the teams relying on what they build. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this is an opportunity to have real ownership over backend services that support enterprise analytic outcomes.
