Our team is looking for a Senior Full-Stack QA Engineer for one of our clients.

Our customer is a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world.

About the project: Data-collection platform spanning the worker app, the back office, and backend services.

Project duration: 3+ months (extension possible)

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Owning the test strategy for a data-collection platform spanning the worker app (WebView inside the main app), the back office, and backend services, from test plans through release sign-off.
• Testing media capture and upload in real-world conditions: photo, voice, video, and text across a wide range of Android/iOS devices, poor networks, interrupted and resumed uploads, and on-device pre-checks.
• Verifying complex business flows and state machines: task reservation and expiry, quotas and campaign auto-stop, submission statuses, review and rework cycles, labeling consensus, and buyer isolation between segments.
• Ensuring correctness of money and compliance flows: accruals, balances, payout batches and reconciliation, consent versioning and withdrawal, data erasure, and audit trails for every action.
• Building and maintaining end-to-end and API test automation in CI, plus load testing of the task queue and ingestion under peak traffic (e.g. after mass push notifications).

Our expectations of the candidate: 

• Strong experience in functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across the full user journey: onboarding and consent, task queue, data capture and upload, review, earnings, and payouts.
• Experience testing time- and quota-based logic, such as task reservations with TTL, expiry and reassignment, volume limits, and targeting by country, language, and user segment.
• Experience testing financial flows, such as accruals, balances, batch payouts, and reconciliation with third-party payout providers; understanding of data privacy requirements, including consent management, data retention, and erasure.
• Experience testing integrations with internal and third-party services, such as authentication, CRM and push notifications, payout partners, LLM providers, and cloud storage (S3).
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven and asynchronous architectures, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, duplicate events, and eventual consistency.
• Experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs and automated API testing; familiarity with tools such as Postman.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
• Ability to investigate issues using logs, metrics, traces, databases, and message queues; experience with tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana, Kafka, and SQL (MySQL).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS-based environments; experience with load and performance testing is a plus.
• Ability to validate consistency across the mobile app (Kotlin), WebView, back office, backend APIs, and distributed services, and troubleshoot partial failures and partner/service outages.
• Experience contributing to test strategy, requirements reviews, release validation, and production issue analysis, with a focus on business risks and product quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

English: Intermediate or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience testing media capture and upload on mobile devices (photo, voice, video, text), including device fragmentation, permissions, poor or unstable networks, resumable uploads, and on-device validation.
