Infosys EdgeVerve are seeking a senior, quota-carrying individual contributor to win net-new enterprise logos for our AI platform in the United States. This role owns the full new-business motion—from prospecting and discovery through business case, proof-of-concept, negotiation, and close—across target accounts in Manufacturing, Insurance, Financial Services, and CPG. The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise hunting capability, strong CXO credibility, and the ability to translate AI, data, analytics, and digital platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes for complex enterprises.
What You Will Own
- Own an annual ARR / bookings target of $1M–$1.2M through pure new-logo acquisition in the United States, with no quota responsibility for renewals, farming, or post-sale account expansion. Build and execute territory and named-account plans that create a durable, self-sourced pipeline against that target.
- Drive the end-to-end enterprise sales process: outbound prospecting, qualification, discovery, value articulation, solution positioning, demo / POC orchestration, proposal development, procurement / legal / security navigation, negotiation, and close.
- Build relationships with business and technical executives across target accounts, including CIO, CTO, CDO, COO, CFO, Chief Actuary, Heads of Operations, Data, Risk, Claims, Underwriting, Manufacturing, and Digital leaders, depending on industry context.
- Create compelling ROI-backed business cases that tie our AI platform to customer outcomes such as productivity, quality, risk reduction, operational efficiency, workflow transformation, customer experience improvement, or modernization of core business processes.
- Partner closely with Solutions Consulting / Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing, and relevant post-sale teams to land new customers. After initial close, transition the account to the appropriate post-sale owner so you can remain focused on net-new logos and greenfield growth.
- Maintain rigorous forecast discipline, opportunity hygiene, and CRM accuracy, and bring customer and market insight back into product and go-to-market planning.
Required Experience
- 14–22 years of enterprise software / SaaS sales experience, with significant time spent in direct, quota-carrying, new-business roles rather than account-management-only or channel-only roles. Strong preference for recent experience selling AI, analytics, data, automation, or digital platforms into large enterprises.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding enterprise bookings goals around the $1M–$1.2M range, plus a track record of closing complex six-figure enterprise deals. Public AI/SaaS comps in this search range from ≥$1M ARR/year experience to enterprise quotas of $1.2M–$1.8M.
- Proven success selling into one or more of the following sectors: Manufacturing, Insurance, Financial Services, or CPG. Market evidence in this search is strongest for Manufacturing, Insurance, and Financial Services; CPG remains a targeted preference in this version rather than a separately benchmarked public specialty title.
- Evidence of building your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, network activation, partner ecosystems, industry events, and account-based campaigns. This is a true hunter role and requires comfort with self-sourced pipeline creation in greenfield accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate business or technical qualification preferred. Experience with AI/ML, analytics, data platforms, digital engineering, automation, or workflow software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with U.S. enterprise buying cycles, including procurement, legal, security, and compliance reviews, especially in regulated industries such as Financial Services and Insurance.
- Vertical/domain fluency is a plus:
- Manufacturing: Industry 4.0, process/discrete manufacturing, plant/OT environments, yield, quality, maintenance, and productivity use cases.
- Insurance / Financial Services: underwriting, claims, actuarial, policy administration, fraud/KYC/compliance, and regulated enterprise transformation motions.
- CPG: relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, commercial, customer, or digital transformation settings is preferred
