What you’re going to do

We’re looking for a Europe-based freelance copywriter (full-time equivalent hours) with strong social media instincts to own our English-language content function. This is a copywriting-first role. You’ll write constantly: customer success stories, thought leadership content, event recaps, podcast episodes, video scripts, social media captions and visual copy, and long-form content like blog posts and white papers. An interest in marrying good writing with funnel logic is also a plus. We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and creative—someone who takes initiative, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is always looking for better ways to tell our story. Your key responsibilities include:

• Write and edit content across formats: captions, visual copy, carousels, video scripts, thought leadership posts
• Write and structure video scripts for customer stories, podcast episodes, trade show content, and training/academy material, working closely with our video editors and designers to bring them to life
• Turn customer interviews and raw source material into accurate, publish-ready case studies and success stories
• Maintain and apply our editorial standards (style rules, tone, and accuracy checks across every piece of content
• Own the content review process with subject matter experts and sales to maintain accuracy
• Manage weekly social media execution: scheduling content, posting cadence, format decisions, community engagement, and prepare a brief, bi-weekly analytics report
• Support event content (trade shows, conferences) with blog posts, live captions, and recap content
• Collaborate with our graphic designers to brief and review visual assets that pair with your copy
• Collaborate with our German-language colleagues to keep English and German content aligned in voice and timing
• Work with demand generation to align content themes with funnel stages and campaign priorities
• Join in on our weekly team meetings to stay aligned on priorities 

What you bring

• Proven B2B copywriting experience, ideally in manufacturing technology or another technical/industrial space where you’ve had to make technical subject matter sound clear and credible
• Video/script writing experience, ideally for training, product or customer story content
• Native or near-native English writing ability (this role owns English-language output)
• Comfort working from source material (interviews, technical documentation, sales notes) rather than inventing from scratch
• A track record of tight, accurate writing under editorial constraints, not just creative freedom
• Working familiarity with HubSpot and LinkedIn’s native scheduling/analytics tools and standard design collaboration tools

Nice to have

• Formal SEO training or certification (Google, HubSpot, Semrush, Moz, CXL, or equivalent)
• Experience conducting keyword research and optimizing B2B content for organic search performance
• Experience writing for a funnel or demand gen function (understanding of MQL/SQL logic, ICP-driven messaging, campaign-aligned content)
• Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial software or production environments
• Experience with case study or customer reference content specifically, including working with legal/approval processes
• Demonstrated LinkedIn platform fluency: you understand what performs in B2B, why and can make format and cadence calls without hand-holding
• German language proficiency for cross-team coordination
