Short Summary:
The Senior Manager, Finance Operations and Data will oversee the end-to-end transactional finance operational lifecycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and optimized financial operations. This role is accountable for aligning and optimizing processes, driving process optimization and automation with AI integration, and fostering team development.
Responsibilities:
- Fully own the accounting and financial reporting for the Company's equity and stock-based compensation.
- Provide team leads and managers with guidance on escalations, process improvements, and implementation of financial procedures.
- Drive daily operations across Billings, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Finance Data Operations.
- Champion finance operations automation while leveraging AI tools and data warehouses to optimize workflows.
- Monitor and report on key operational and working capital metrics.
- Mentor and develop functional managers and their teams.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless financial integration and data integrity.
- Identify and implement best practices for financial operations and data management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirement:
- 10+ years of experience managing financial operations and finance data functions.
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) designation or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience implementing large-scale finance technology solutions or ERP transformations.
- Background working in a complex, multi-national corporate environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams.
- Proficiency with modern ERP systems, billing software, and financial data management platforms.
