Short Summary:
The Associate Manager, Finance Data Operations is responsible for leading the team that governs the integrity, accuracy, and flow of critical business data across all financial systems. This role oversees broader systems data alignment, including CRM data, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), billing engines, and ERP platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage daily operations of the Finance Data Operations team.
- Oversee and reconcile data interfaces and flows between front-end systems and in-house platforms.
- Implement rigorous validation protocols for sales, billing, and pricing data.
- Manage contract administration processes to ensure compliance with financial schedules.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Billings, Revenue, and Accounting teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure timely validation and preparation of sales data and reporting for variable compensation.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual data validation processes and document SOPs.
- Lead the preparation of internal and external data audit requests.
Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience in finance data operations, sales operations, or system reconciliation.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, specifically Sales Ordering, Revenue Recognition, and Billings.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce and/or Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
- Strong experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms.
- Mastery of advanced Excel, Google Sheets, or data reconciliation tools.
- Experience with automation and AI tools for data validation.
- Experience with data warehouses and tools like BigQuery.
