We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Lead with extensive experience in enterprise solution architecture, system implementation, integration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing and delivering complex technology solutions, with expertise across modern integration patterns, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry and be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions. This role will lead solution design across multiple banking platforms and initiatives, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic business objectives. In addition, the Technical Solutions Lead will serve as a key technology partner to both internal and external stakeholders, driving collaboration across business, product, operations, vendors, and technology teams to ensure the successful delivery and continuous evolution of the bank's technology landscape.
Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:

Define and drive the overall technology, solution architecture, and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, digital transformation initiatives, and product roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across all technology platforms, applications, integrations, and engineering teams.
Establish and maintain architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and best practices to guide technology decision-making and solution delivery.
Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions.
Act as the primary technical authority for solution architecture, technology selection, architecture reviews, and technical governance.
Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
Define solution architectures for digital banking, payments, lending, wealth management, customer engagement, and enterprise platforms.
Lead architecture modernization initiatives using cloud-native technologies, microservices, API-first design, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering practices.
Establish and govern application, integration, data, and cloud architecture frameworks across the organization.
Lead the design and implementation of Core Banking solutions, including Temenos and related banking platforms.
Develop and govern enterprise integration strategies, including APIs, middleware, event streaming, open banking integrations, and third-party ecosystem connectivity.
Provide solution designs for new business capabilities, products, and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Leads, UX teams, and business stakeholders to identify and deliver innovative technology solutions.
Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture assessments, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.
Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements covering scalability, performance, reliability, availability, maintainability, and operational resilience.
Govern technical design decisions and ensure alignment with security, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
Lead technical release governance and oversee production readiness, deployment strategies, and environment management.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction to development, QA, DevOps, and support teams.
Support engineering teams in addressing complex technical challenges and architectural decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Lead architecture and integration initiatives across payment ecosystems, including Benefit, local clearing houses, card schemes, and external financial service providers.
Drive technology roadmap planning, platform rationalization, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Conduct architecture reviews and continuous improvement assessments across applications, platforms, and services.
Collaborate with vendors, partners, and technology providers to ensure adherence to architecture standards and successful solution delivery.
Stay current with emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices, particularly within financial services and fintech.
Define and drive the organization's AI strategy from a solution architecture and engineering perspective.
Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI across business processes, products, operations, and software engineering.
Design and govern enterprise AI architecture, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI gateways, agent orchestration, and model integration patterns.
Lead the adoption of AI-assisted and AI-driven software development practices across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Establish architecture standards for AI-powered applications, digital assistants, co-pilots, intelligent automation, and autonomous agents.
Drive the implementation of AI capabilities for requirements analysis, solution design generation, code generation, documentation generation, test case generation, test automation, and release validation.
Lead the development of AI-enabled engineering platforms that improve developer productivity, software quality, and delivery velocity.
Define AI integration patterns for platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, Claude, Bedrock, and other enterprise AI services.
Promote an AI-first engineering culture by embedding AI capabilities into architecture, development, testing, operations, and support processes.
Lead the evaluation and implementation of emerging AI technologies to create competitive advantage and accelerate business growth.

Experience & Education:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, particularly in Core Banking Implementation and Integration in a cloud environment
Extensive experience with the Temenos Core Banking System and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience in designing and implementing large-scale banking solutions in a cloud environment
Strong understanding of banking products, processes and regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related subject
