Short Summary:
Hypebeast is seeking a Creative Intern who is both culture and AI native, to support the Greater China Media & Partnerships team in research and proposal development for brand briefs and campaign treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Media & Partnerships team to research and build proposals, brand briefs, and campaign treatments across the Hypebeast portfolio.
- Use AI tools to accelerate cultural research, competitive intelligence, market sizing, and first-draft copy and decks, refining for accuracy and taste.
- Build and maintain competitive briefs and trend reports across various sectors with a Greater China lens.
- Support prompt design, prototyping, and workflow for the team's internal AI research tools.
- Turn scattered sources and data into structured, cited, and actionable slides and documents.
- Keep projects moving by taking notes, tracking deliverables, and sharing updates across teams.
Requirement:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of university (design, communications, marketing, media or related) with a strong art & design portfolio.
- Deep fluency in contemporary culture: fashion, streetwear, sneakers, and adjacent verticals.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, comfortable using LLMs for research and writing.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Slides/Sheets and at least one design tool (Figma, Adobe, or Canva).
- Highly proficient in English; working proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong plus.
- Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Familiarity with Chinese digital and social platforms and the KOL economy.
- Light technical ability with basic scripting or no-code AI tools.
- Personal projects showcasing AI skills are a plus.
