Short Summary:
Huntress is seeking a Manager for their Security Operations Center to lead a global team of security analysts in investigating and responding to incidents. The role focuses on defining processes and workflows to enhance operations and support the growth of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to reduce burnout and increase productivity.
- Manage local/global shift coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with analysts for feedback and career progression.
- Develop and implement analyst training programs in various security domains.
- Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize new capabilities.
- Maintain accountability for routine quality assurance.
- Engage with Support to streamline workflows for partner/customer requests.
- Strengthen processes with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership for SOC analysts.
- Develop, track, and report on Objectives and Key Results.
- Participate in public speaking engagements.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24x7 SOC, focusing on Windows forensics.
- 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role.
- Active engagement in the information security community.
- Ability to create detailed process diagrams and operating procedures.
- Effective communication of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts.
