Senior Paid Media Specialist(Meta & Google Ads) (021 - 1079)

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role : Senior Paid Media Specialist(Meta & Google Ads)

Compensation range :  $2,500 - $4,000 AUD/month

Engagement type : Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule : This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a boutique Australian marketing consultancy that specializes in helping healthcare professionals grow through clear, practical, and data-driven marketing strategies. They’re known for their approachable, down-to-earth working style and focus on delivering real, tangible results rather than overcomplicated agency talk. With a small and collaborative team, they offer a supportive environment where new team members can contribute meaningfully, learn quickly, and be involved in a variety of marketing and administrative initiatives.

Role Overview: Our client is a digital agency replacing their paid media specialist. We need an extremely senior, Philippines-based specialist who will own Meta Ads and Google Ads strategy and execution across our client portfolio. Our clients are bricks-and-mortar local healthcare businesses, selling both general services and high-ticket treatments. All of our work is lead generation on Meta and Google Ads.

This is a full-time, long-term remote role. The person must have built their career inside agencies, not as a freelancer. They will work with a high degree of autonomy, act as the senior paid media voice for our clients, and be accountable for results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own strategy, structure and day-to-day management of Meta and Google Ads across a portfolio of client accounts.
• Plan and run creative testing on Meta, and brief creative based on performance data.
• Manage Google Search, Performance Max and local campaigns, including query mining, location targeting and bidding strategy.
• Set up, audit and maintain conversion tracking: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads conversions, GA4, call and form tracking, and server-side tagging where relevant.
• Tie account performance to client business outcomes such as cost per lead, cost per booked appointment and revenue per patient, and set budgets accordingly.
• Prioritise time across many accounts, spotting problems and opportunities before clients or management do.
• Write client reports and updates, and join client calls to present results and recommendations.
• Audit new client accounts during onboarding and pitches.
• Document account structures, tests and processes so knowledge stays with the agency.

Requirements

1. Agency background. At least 7 years in paid media, with most of that time employed by digital or performance agencies.
2. Senior agency role. A recent title such as Senior Paid Media Manager, Performance Lead or Head of Paid, ideally with experience leading or mentoring others.
3. Portfolio management. Has managed 8 or more client accounts at the same time, mostly lead generation for local service businesses.
4. International clients. Has worked on Australian, US or UK client accounts.
5. Expert on both Meta and Google Ads. Hands-on depth on both platforms, not strong on one and passable on the other. This includes Advantage+ and creative testing on Meta, and Search, Performance Max and local campaigns on Google. Knows Meta and Google healthcare advertising policies and how to keep health ads approved.
6. Measurement. Strong working knowledge of Conversions API, GA4, Google Tag Manager and attribution. Understands the limits of in-platform reporting and can talk about incrementality.
7. Creative instinct. Can analyse creative performance and write clear creative briefs.
8. Business thinking. Talks about results in terms of cost per lead, cost per booked appointment and revenue per patient, not just CTR and CPM.
9. Verifiable track record. Can state total monthly spend managed and walk through real accounts with measurable results. References from agency employers are available.
10. Exceptional English. Near-native written and spoken English, confident leading client calls and writing client-facing reports without editing.

-Titles such as "Virtual Assistant" or "Freelance Ads Manager" as their main experience.
-Experience limited to in-house roles for a single brand, or mainly e-commerce with
little lead generation work.
-Strong on only one of Meta or Google Ads.
-Unable to name the agencies they worked for, the types of clients, or the spend they
managed.
-Relies on certifications instead of real account results.
-English that is good but not client-ready.
