Senior Product Manager - Self-Service & Onboarding - Hybrid Lisbon (2–3 days/week office)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join HumanIT to work with an international fintech building its technology hub in Lisbon. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead self-service and onboarding experiences that help businesses access, configure and manage payment services.

You will collaborate with international teams and report to the Head of Product, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2–3 office days per week in central Lisbon, near Parliament. Professional fluency in English is required.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will own the product direction and roadmap for merchant-facing portals and onboarding journeys, helping customers become operational faster and manage their accounts independently.

Your scope will include account setup, business verification journeys, payment provider configuration, user administration, API credentials and payment routing settings. You will work closely with engineering, design, commercial and operational teams to translate complex requirements into clear, intuitive experiences.

Use customer research, product analytics and experimentation to identify friction, prioritise improvements and measure outcomes. Explore opportunities to apply AI and automation to simplify workflows and support better product decisions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Demonstrated experience managing complex SaaS or platform products as a Senior Product Manager.
• Experience owning self-service portals, onboarding journeys or customer administration experiences.
• Proven ownership of the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritisation through delivery and iteration.
• Ability to translate complex workflows, dependencies and technical constraints into clear product requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using customer feedback and product data to guide decisions.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with business priorities.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and design teams, alongside effective stakeholder management.
• Clear communication, autonomy and accountability for measurable product outcomes.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to attend the Lisbon office 2–3 days per week.

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience in payments, fintech or financial services.
• Familiarity with merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB processes or payment provider integrations.
• Experience with product-led growth, activation metrics and conversion optimisation.
• Understanding of API-based products and developer-facing experiences.
• Practical experience using AI tools or automation to improve product workflows and customer journeys.

Compensation: €2.550 – €3.350/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
