The Corporate Services Technology organization is seeking an experienced Application Architect to support Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Government Affairs, Humana Foundation, and Corporate Communications.
This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated technology leader who thrives in a complex enterprise environment and can effectively partner across multiple business and technology functions. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, helping drive technology strategy, modernization, innovation, and operational excellence across the Corporate Affairs portfolio.
The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in application architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise technology leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Experience evaluating enterprise software platforms, cloud technologies, integration solutions, and modern application architectures.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, governance practices, and practical business applications.
- Experience supporting information security, data governance, privacy, and Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) requirements.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while balancing business priorities.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop technology roadmaps and solution strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and legacy platforms to identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and business value.
- Lead architecture and design efforts for enterprise applications, integrations, and digital solutions.
- Serve as the primary technology liaison across Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Government Affairs, Humana Foundation, and Corporate Communications.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions while ensuring appropriate governance, security, and responsible use practices.
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Information Protection (EIP), cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex application and production support issues.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to implement scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
