DevSecOps Engineer – GCP W2 Role

Job Description

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with strong GCP experience to build, automate, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, security practices, and cloud-native deployments.

Location: Schaumburg, IL
Work Mode: Hybrid

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.

• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Google Cloud Build.

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and security automation.

• Experience with GCP IAM, VPC, networking, and cloud security.

• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.

• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.

• Hands-on experience with security tools and practices including:

  • SAST

  • DAST

  • SCA

  • Vulnerability scanning

• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging.

• Strong knowledge of Helm and container security.

• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.

• Good understanding of security, compliance, and cloud best practices.

Required Skills

• Years of Experience: 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering

• Mandatory Skills: GCP, DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, Agentic Platforms, cloud automation

• Work Authorization: USC and GC’s only

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
