  • Evaluate competitive activity, including investments, acquisitions, partnerships, products, technology, and distribution strategies.
  • Develop and test strategic hypotheses and challenge existing business assumptions.
  • Translate complex information into clear insights, choices, implications, and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Partner across Product, Distribution, Finance, Operations, Technology, Marketing, and other functions to advance strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of emerging opportunities and strategic questions requiring further exploration.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects involving ambiguity and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting market, competitive, customer, and financial analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that can be tailored to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, program management or related field within the group insurance industry.
  • Experience with large employee benefits programs.
  • Initiative leadership creating clarity and momentum across complex initiatives without needing direct authority over participating teams.
  • Learning agility and curiosity by developing expertise in unfamiliar topics and actively exploring emerging opportunities.
  • Experience coordinating complex processes across teams and disciplines to deliver shared customer outcomes.
