Position    :    System Analyst (Data and Technical Support Systems)

Pay    :    HK$64,518 to HK$88,971 (HMPS Point 1 to 8) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities
1.    Coordinate, monitor and implement IT solutions for various business application systems including but not limited to Oracle E-Business Suite and financial management system. 
2.    Liaise with users to collect, analyze and finalize requirement specifications and overall design of the application systems.
3.    Provide consultancy based on IT and industry expertise.
4.    Ensure quality assurance, define support needs for users and provide expert level support. 
5.    Supervise team of analyst programmers and programmers and monitor progress for the different stages of application development including planning, design, development, testing, implementation and review.
6.    Provide capacity planning and resources sizing. 
7.    Proper handling of change requests, review of standards and guidelines. 
8.    Provide high level system analysis, problem diagnosis and solving.
9.    Lead the on-going application support, maintenance and enhancements.
10.  Provide after office hours system support.

Entry Requirements
1.    Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines, or equivalent.
2.    6 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure
1.    Proven experience in the following areas:
(a)    Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2
(b)    Oracle Workflow Builder, Reports Builder, Form Builder
(c)    SQL programming, schema design and SQL performance tuning in Oracle database
(d)    React JS and SpringBoot
(e)    Github Actions and OpenShift configurations
2.    Knowledge in the finance and / or EAM module of Oracle EBS will be an advantage.
3.    Strong analytical, problem investigation and problem-solving skills.
4.    Able to work independently and capable to work under pressure.
5.    Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
6.    Effective communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

2.    May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
3.    For serving HA staff, relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
