Senior HFM - Trading Platforms Enterprise Infrastructure Architect in Larnaca

We are committed to innovation, transparency, and excellence in the financial markets.  As we continue to expand, HFM is seeking a driven Trading Platforms Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to join our team. You will define target architecture for the MetaQuotes MT4 and MT5 trading-platform estate, covering hosting, high availability, recovery, upgrades and release delivery and  establish infrastructure best practices. Responsibilities:

• Own trading-platform target architecture and the roadmap, including server topology, sizing, capacity and hosting on premises and in AWS.
• Own high-availability, failover and disaster-recovery design for trading servers.
• Set platform administration standards, configuration baselines, trading-server access and change practices.
• Own upgrade, test and release architecture aligned with MetaQuotes release cycles so changes are validated, repeatable and reversible.
• Lead modernization, including containerizing suitable Windows workloads onto Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
• Prototype and validate infrastructure patterns hands-on, and train the Platform Admin team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  
• 10+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, including several years designing or running MT4/MT5 server estates at a broker.
  
• Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage.
  
• Deep knowledge of MT4/MT5 server administration, configuration and upgrades against the MetaQuotes release cycle, and of hosting liquidity bridges such as PrimeXM.
  
• Windows Server administration at scale, including hardening and privileged-access control.
  
• Experience designing high availability, failover and disas​ter recovery for mission-critical systems.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana; containerizing Windows workloads on Kubernetes / Amazon EKS is a strong plus.
  
• Strong background in CI/CD and release automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI), with scripting in PowerShell.
  
• MetaQuotes MetaTrader 5 Administrator certification desirable; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate a plus.
  
• Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
