HFM - Business Operations Analyst in Larnaca

We are committed to innovation, transparency, and excellence in the financial markets.  As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Business Operations Analyst  to join our team.  Res ponsibilities :

• Develop and manage operational monitoring initiatives, including the establishment of data requirements, performance baselines, and monitoring thresholds.

• ​Conduct monthly analyses to identify operational anomalies, control deficiencies, financial leakage, and areas of potential risk.

• Investigate identified issues, perform root cause analysis, and quantify their financial and operational impact.

• Prepare monthly monitoring reports and actionable insights for the CEO and relevant business stakeholders.

• Recommend corrective actions, coordinate with relevant business owners, and monitor implementation through to resolution.

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring monitoring and reporting activities using SQL, Business Intelligence (BI), and AI-driven tools.

• Collaborate with Anti-Fraud, Business Process Management (BPM), Project Management Office (PMO), Payments, and BI/Data teams to support investigations and operational improvements within established areas of responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations analytics, payments, fraud or risk analytics, internal audit, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or consulting.

• Experience within the financial services or fintech industry will be considered a strong advantage.

• Strong SQL proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Experience with Power BI is preferred; knowledge of Python will be considered an advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse, reconcile, and interpret complex data from multiple sources.

• Interest in leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve operational processes and analytical efficiency.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
