About HeyGen

At HeyGen, our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. Over the last decade, visual content has become the preferred method of information creation, consumption, and retention. But the ability to create such content, in particular videos, continues to be costly and challenging to scale. Our ambition is to build technology that equips more people with the power to reach, captivate, and inspire audiences. Learn more at www.heygen.com. Visit our Mission and Culture doc here.

The Role

We are hiring Sales Development Representatives to build the pipeline behind HeyGen's next phase of growth. This is a full-funnel prospecting role with a heavy emphasis on outbound. You will research target accounts, run creative outbound campaigns, work product-led signals, qualify interest, and book first meetings for our Account Executives. This is not a traditional SDR role where you work someone else's list and a fixed script. We are looking for hunters who are comfortable moving fast, testing new outbound ideas, starting conversations with busy buyers, and earning meetings through persistence, creativity, and sharp research. You will prospect into companies using HeyGen's web app and API, helping buyers see how AI video can transform marketing, sales enablement, customer education, training, localization, product onboarding, and developer-powered video workflows.

What You'll Do

Build pipeline from scratch - You will run high-volume, high-quality outbound into target accounts. This includes cold email, phone, LinkedIn, personalized video, account research, trigger-based outreach, and creative campaign ideas. You should be excited by the idea of starting conversations that would not have happened without you.

Mine product-led signals - You will work with self-serve users, product usage data, sign-ups, and inbound interest to find the teams already getting value from HeyGen who are ready for a bigger conversation.

Qualify with discipline - You will run first conversations that uncover real pain, identify who owns the budget, and understand timing, so every meeting you book is one an Account Executive wants to take.

Sell the outcome, not just the meeting - You will help prospects see how HeyGen can reduce video production costs, speed up content creation, improve localization, personalize customer communication, and unlock new video workflows, so they show up to the first call already curious.

Move fast and test - You will try new messaging, channels, personas, and sequences, measure what works, and share it with the team. Most experiments fail; the ones that work become the playbook.

Partner with Account Executives - You will align with AEs on target accounts, share what you are hearing in the market, and hand off the context they need to run a strong first meeting.

Maintain strong pipeline discipline - You will keep CRM data clean, log activity accurately, and understand the difference between a real opportunity and a polite maybe.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or another target-driven role.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding activity, meeting, or pipeline targets.
• Experience generating pipeline through outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Strong discovery instincts and the ability to find a real business problem in a first conversation.
• Comfort reaching out to marketing, sales, customer success, L&D, product, operations, founder, or technical stakeholders.
• A high-agency, builder mindset. You do not wait for perfect playbooks. You test, learn, and iterate.
• Strong written communication skills. Your cold emails and follow-ups should be clear, short, and get replies.
• Curiosity about AI, video, creative workflows, and API-driven products.

Nice-to-Haves

• SDR or BDR experience at a PLG, usage-based, API, creative software, marketing technology, sales technology, or AI company.
• Experience prospecting into marketing, localization, customer education, learning and development, sales enablement, ecommerce, media, or product teams.
• Experience using video, personalization, AI tools, or creative outbound to start conversations.
• Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.

Who Will Thrive Here

• Gets energy from prospecting and hunting.
• Can write a sharp cold email without waiting for marketing to give you a template.
• Is comfortable making calls, sending videos, testing messaging, and following up persistently.
• Treats a target as a game to win, not a burden.
• Does not need a fully built sales playbook to be productive.
• Wants to become a top-performing Account Executive and is willing to earn it.
• Is competitive, resourceful, and organized.
• Knows how to balance volume with thoughtful qualification.

Compensation & Benefits

• Equity in a high-growth AI company.
• Health, dental, and vision benefits.
