As the leader of the engineering function, you will help us:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing full-stack engineering organization for mobile apps, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence
• Partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to define, align, and execute the product and technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for the WeGo products for mobile and web
• Drive the evolution of large-scale consumer mobile and web applications, ensuring world-class user experiences, scalable architecture, operational excellence, and long-term technology sustainability
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent while ensuring teams have the skills, resources, processes, and tools required to deliver business outcomes effectively
• Champion engineering best practices, innovation, and technical excellence, contributing to and influencing the broader engineering community across HERE Technologies
• Lead the organization's adoption of AI-enabled engineering and product development practices, empowering teams to leverage emerging technologies responsibly to accelerate innovation, productivity, and customer value.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive software engineering experience, with significant experience leading and scaling engineering teams.
  A track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining effective engineering teams.
  Experience delivering high-quality consumer-facing mobile and web products at scale.
  Experience working effectively across Product Management, Engineering, Security, Operations, Finance, and other organizational functions.
  A strong technical foundation that enables you to guide architectural decisions, foster engineering excellence, and balance innovation with operational reliability.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a strong understanding of how AI can transform both software development and customer experiences
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
