Manager Innovation - Processing (d/f/m)

About this Position

As Manager Innovation – Processing, you will lead technical innovation projects and contribute to the development of advanced processing solutions within Henkel Consumer Brands. You will work at the interface of product, process, and consumer needs, collaborating across functions and with external partners. 

What you´ll do

• Lead innovation projects as technical project manager from first idea to prototyping, basic technical design, consumer testing, and final handover to the implementation team
• Develop and optimize processing technologies for new product concepts
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders: * Formulation Development * Packaging Development * Marketing / Consumer Insights * Supply Chain & Engineering
• Manage and engage with external partners, including suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and academic institutions
• Translate consumer needs into technical and scalable solutions
• Support technology scouting and innovation initiatives
• Perform hands-on lab and pilot plant work including trials and scale-up activities
• Ensure clear documentation and communication of project results

What makes you a good fit

• University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food, or Pharmaceutical Engineering, Technical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in R&D, engineering, or process development in a comparable environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams with interest in consumer-centric process innovation
• Structured, proactive and curious mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills combined with Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in laboratory and pilot environments
• Fluent in English, ideally good German skills
