Short Summary:
The Production Technician is responsible for performing various tasks associated with the formulation and movement of product, raw materials, and other commodities with minimal supervision. This position also operates formulation equipment to maximize output.
Responsibilities:
- Formulates raw materials into finished product that conforms to all quality control standards.
- Performs system cleanouts and product changeover between production campaigns.
- Operates material handling equipment to retrieve and deliver raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Loads/unloads trucks and railcars, completes related paperwork, and follows sampling procedures.
- Maintains a clean and organized production area.
- Completes all production paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complies with all specified quality assurance (QA) methods and documentation.
- Performs QA tests including pH and density.
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two years of work experience is required.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Pass drug test and background check.
- Forklift experience preferred but will train.
