Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Partner with the Deputy Social Media Editor to develop and execute the social video strategy across key platforms.
- Create and produce engaging, on-brand social video content that grows audiences and drives meaningful engagement.
- Optimize, schedule, and publish video content across social platforms, with a particular focus on YouTube.
- Engage with online communities by monitoring conversations and fostering audience interaction.
- Analyze content and platform performance to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Refine social video strategies based on performance data to support executive business and audience growth goals.
- Collaborate with editorial and cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand priorities and campaign objectives.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- Demonstrated success developing and executing social video strategies that drive audience growth and engagement.
- Strong video production skills, including concept development, editing, and publishing for social-first platforms.
- Experience managing YouTube and other major social platforms, with a strong understanding of platform best practices.
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into actionable content strategies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for digital storytelling, emerging social trends, and audience engagement.
- This is a remote position.
The hourly rate for this role is $50.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
