About the Opportunity
This is a well-established NZ infrastructure business with a strong, recurring revenue base and a reputation for getting delivery right. Now it's betting on a brand-new connections business to accelerate the country's electrification, and it needs the right person to help build it from the ground up.

Scope, schedule, budget, risk, governance, it's all yours to own.
- Take end-to-end ownership of a major connections project, from first concept through approvals, execution and handover
- Drive the approvals process across regulators, network partners and internal stakeholders, and step up as delivery lead once the green light is given
- Build the governance, risk and reporting frameworks from scratch, and rally delivery partners, contractors and customers around a shared plan
What You’ll Bring
- 8-10+ years in project leadership, ideally developed in complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure, electricity transmission or distribution is a strong plus
- A proven ability to juggle regulatory approvals, commercial negotiations and delivery governance, all at once, without dropping the ball
- A start-up mindset that thrives on ambiguity, paired with the discipline a regulated sector demands
What’s on Offer
- The chance to build something real, a brand-new business, backed by an established parent with ambition
- A front-row seat, and a leading role, in New Zealand's energy transition
