About the Opportunity

• Turners is a well-known NZ consumer brand with a growing national footprint (33 branches, targeting 50 in 5 years)
• CEO-reporting, SLT-level marketing leadership role across the Auto Retail division of Turners Automotive Group
• Clear commercial mandate: protect and grow lead volume/quality, conversion and ROI
• Steward an established well-loved brand platform
• This role leads a team of 5 direct reports (brand, SEO/SEM, marketing/data insight and Customer Support), and partnering with the front-end Web Squad.
• Own end-to-end customer experience improvement across online + Customer Support + branches, partnering closely with Digital and Sales
• Culture-wise, this is a grounded, sleeves-rolled-up environment: low ego, team-first, and outcomes over optics

What You’ll Bring

• Senior end-to-end marketing leadership (brand + acquisition + customer lifecycle) with measurable commercial outcomes.
• The number 1 priority of this role is generating quality sales leads; you must be an expert in this area in B2C environment to succeed
• Strong CRM/lifecycle and martech capability (segmentation, nurturing, automation, test/learn, measurement discipline)
• Confidence partnering with data/digital teams in a complex environment (Snowflake/Segment; evolving ERP ecosystem)
• Ability to influence across an SLT (Sales/Ops, IT/Data, Finance, P&C) and a distributed branch network — commercial, pragmatic and collaborative
• Personality fit strategic and a hands-on “doer” who can lead from the front, stay grounded, and make things happen
• Experience that translates well: complex B2C, reasonably high-involvement purchase journeys, and multi-channel customer funnels (we are open to sector)
