What You'll do:

Groundswell is hiring a Technical Lead to join our team!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the infrastructure team’s work assignments, capacity planning, schedules, technical risks, and quality of deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a resilient and scalable platform architecture.
  • Ability to understand business objectives, interpret them, and translate that to a coherent technical vision.
  • Ownership of compliance and governance for infrastructure and data.
  • Design secure infrastructure solutions for connecting to external systems and collaborate with project teams to collect, manage, and transmit required data in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Understand, refine, and communicate the business requirements and use them to create robust, sustainable, and manageable system architecture.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and deployment of platform components, services, and applications.
  • Ensure that best practices are followed during design, development, and delivery of projects.
  • Establish or enhance strategy, standards and procedures for data integration, configuration, and implementation.
  • Support the development and evolution of Agentic Audit technology roadmaps by evaluating emerging technologies, assessing their potential business value, and identifying opportunities to enhance audit capabilities and outcomes.
  • Lead the technical design efforts to meet business objectives while driving the overall architecture to improve system reliability and flexibility.
  • Technical analysis and documentation of Agentic Audit systems. Set technical standards/ best practice and peer review developed codes and technical documents as required.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, systems integration, product implementation, enterprise systems deployment or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a technical lead, team lead, architect, or similar role with responsibility for technical delivery and team coordination.
  • Experience leading technical teams or workstreams, including assigning work, coordinating team capacity, managing schedules, mentoring team members, and supporting timely delivery.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives and requirements into a clear technical vision, practical implementation plans, and sustainable system architecture.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, resilient infrastructure, platforms, services, applications, and external system integrations.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and data governance, cybersecurity, compliance, auditability, access controls, and secure data management practices.
  • Experience developing or improving technical strategies, standards, procedures, documentation, and best practices for architecture, data integration, configuration, implementation, and operations.
  • Ability to assess technical risks, evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to technology roadmaps, and identify opportunities to improve audit capabilities through artificial intelligence, intelligent workflows, data analytics, or Agentic Audit technologies.
  • Experience managing various AWS Cloud resources, including EC2, EBS, S3, EKS, and RDS.
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline infrastructure experience in DoW environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to engage technical and nontechnical stakeholders, conduct peer and code reviews, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with project and leadership teams; relevant certifications and the ability to obtain any required clearance are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience operating UiPath AutomationSuite Environment.
  • Experience working with Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience working with CI/CD Pipeline solutions.
  • Experience managing Non-Person Entities.

Additional requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen per contract requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance per contract requirements. Active Secret clearance preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area. Remote candidates must be willing to travel as needed for client meetings and/or conferences.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$100,901.00 - $199,815.00
