Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist manages Grimco’s paid search and paid media campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with a focus on customer acquisition and return on ad spend. This person partners with the digital marketing strategist on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), creating and updating website and blog content to improve how Grimco is found and cited across AI platforms and search.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including ad copy, targeting, and landing pages
• Manage ad budgets, pacing, and expense reconciliation
• Track how Grimco shows up in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and organic search, and flag gaps
• Write and update website and blog content to close those gaps
• Report on paid, organic, and AI search performance
• Support customer experience management through CX data analysis and marketing attribution reporting
• Support email, social, and promotional event campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing partners

Required

• Self-starter with strong organization, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Strong copywriting skills
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with paid search experience
• Hands-on Google Ads experience, including bidding, budgets, and conversion tracking
• Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console
• Understanding of SEO and how AI platforms find, cite, and recommend content

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
• Agency experience
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs) or AI visibility tracking tools
• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
• E-commerce or B2B experience
