In the role of Manufacturing Test Engineer in the Manufacturing Test team, you will develop product-specific production test solutions for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and help evolve GN’s shared manufacturing test platform. The team you will be part of: Based at our global headquarters in Ballerup, you will join the global Manufacturing Test team, working closely with colleagues across R&D disciplines. You will report to Manager, Manufacturing Test Ballerup, Morten Wille. You will join an inclusive and supportive team of engineers located in Denmark and China. Together, we work across functions and geographies to develop quality production test solutions that support GN’s intelligent audio and video products. Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: Develop cost-efficient production test solutions and platforms, covering software and hardware, for NPI projects Define production test concepts, including test fixtures, test sequences and test releases for manufacturing sites Plan, coordinate and manage the project activities within your area of responsibility Specify test requirements in close collaboration with product design teams and other R&D stakeholders Continuously improve and update existing manufacturing test platforms. Document test methods, procedures and platforms to support consistent implementation Manage collaboration with external partners and test-equipment vendors To perform well in the role, we imagine that you: Bring an educational background in engineering, operations or another relevant field, and an interest in manufacturing test management Are comfortable analysing technical challenges and translating them into structured test solutions Can plan and organise several project activities while maintaining high standards for documentation and delivery Communicate proficiently in English, both verbally and in writing, and work well with colleagues and external partners May have experience with programming languages and tools such as C#, LabVIEW, TestStand or PowerShell; video or acoustics solutions; PCBA, audio, video-screen or camera testing; the SAFe framework; or manufacturing collaboration in the Far East We are open to different levels of experience and will provide onboarding and training to support your development in the role. Depending on project activities, you should expect occasional travel of approximately 5–15 days per year, planned where possible.
