Short Summary:
Roche/GenMark Diagnostics is seeking a Software Engineering Manager, Test Automation Lead to architect the next generation of automated verification strategies, enhancing laboratory efficiency and patient outcomes through rapid solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical anchor for the SW Quality team, mentoring Quality Engineers on coding best practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment, balancing hands-on coding with team leadership.
- Lead initiatives to streamline testing processes and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Design and build scalable, maintainable test frameworks using C#, Playwright, and Appium.
- Architect strategies for complex Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing.
- Partner with DevOps to embed automated suites into Azure pipelines.
- Update Master V&V Plans to automate evidence generation for compliance.
- Track key metrics to drive continuous quality improvement.

Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering or SDET experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a team lead/manager role.
- Demonstrated experience transforming a manual testing team into an automation-first team.
- Mastery of C#/.NET and experience building robust automation frameworks.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing is preferred.
- CI/CD expertise with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
