Role Overview

We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) — Bench & HiL Ecosystem to drive cross-functional execution, supplier management, and strategic delivery alignment across next-generation benches, compute, sensor, and software platforms.

This role is responsible for managing complex supplier ecosystems supporting autonomous vehicle and software-defined vehicle (SDV) bench development — ensuring execution across hardware, embedded software, platform infrastructure, AI Training and vehicle integration timelines.

You will operate at the intersection of Vehicle, Compute & Sensor Hardware, Embedded Software, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and AV Platform Development, driving hil eco-system from concept through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution and coordination across strategic suppliers supporting vehicle platform and AV development programs
  • Manage timelines, technical dependencies, risks, and escalation paths across hardware, software, and infrastructure domains
  • Partner with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program teams to ensure supplier deliverables align with vehicle development milestones and production readiness targets
  • Lead issue resolution, recovery planning, and executive-level escalation management
  • Track execution performance including schedule adherence, quality, integration readiness, and cost impacts
  • Drive accountability across external partners supporting compute platforms, sensors, middleware, diagnostics, networking, firmware, validation and AV infrastructure
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, development milestones, validation readiness, and change management processes
  • Support sourcing strategy and supplier engagement activities for future platform scalability and risk mitigation

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Supplier Management, Systems Engineering, or Complex Program Leadership
  • Experience managing strategic suppliers and cross-functional technical programs in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or distributed systems environments
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, compute platforms, vehicle E/E architecture, and software platform development
  • Experience driving hardware-software integration programs with external vendors and engineering partners
  • Proven ability to manage supplier execution, technical dependencies, schedule risk, and escalation management
  • Experience working with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering organizations
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, validation cycles, and launch readiness processes
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to drive execution in highly ambiguous, fast-moving technical environments

Bonus points!

  • Prior experience supporting Autonomous Vehicle (AV) or Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) programs
  • Experience managing suppliers supporting compute platforms, sensors, networking, or embedded software systems
  • Knowledge of AV software development pipelines and CI/CD ecosystems
  • Experience supporting hardware bring-up, validation benches, HIL environments, or integration labs
  • Familiarity with sensor stack integration (camera, radar, lidar)
  • Experience managing global supplier ecosystems and complex technical escalations
  • Background in diagnostics, middleware, firmware, or platform infrastructure programs
  • Experience supporting SCx / L2+ / L3 autonomy feature deployments
