Job Description Summary

The North Europe Commercial Team is the engine driving our growth in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. We are looking for an ambitious Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC) Sales Manager to join our team in Stafford.

Reporting to the CIC Europe Sales & operation Leader, you will lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, and champion the GE Vernova values as you scale our regional footprint.

Job Description

Is this role for you?

• Sector Expertise: Do you have professional experience specifically within the Telecommunications sector (e.g., Wireless, Optic, Tele protection)?

• Commercial Depth: Can you demonstrate a track record of leading high-stakes commercial negotiations in a complex B2B/Technical environment?
• Industry Focus: “Ideally” but not essential you will have worked with Critical Infrastructure, Utilities, or Power Grid environments?

What You’ll Do

• Architect the Strategy: Define and execute the sales roadmap for our CIC portfolio across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics, managing regional budgets to hit aggressive order intake targets.
• Build Strategic Partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, translating complex technical hurdles into high-value, winning solutions.
• Drive the Full Cycle: Own the commercial journey—from identifying new opportunities and "win-price" modelling to closing the final contract.
• Collaborate for Impact: Work hand-in-hand with our applications and operations teams in Stafford to ensure seamless delivery that delights our customers.
• Lead with Integrity: Champion GE Vernova’s code of conduct, ensuring that every deal is as ethical as it is successful.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Proven experience in sales, tendering, or business development within the telecommunications sector.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across international matrix organizations.
• Ability to travel regionally to support our customer base in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
