This position will support the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Key Duties:
- Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects.
- Develop data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
- Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- May develop processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task lead.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.
- NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Required Experience:
- 5 + years of relevant experience reviewing and interpreting application data
- 2 + years of experience utilizing AI
- Experience develop processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Experience developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges
- Ability to use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes
- Ability to utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data
- Evaluate programs, disseminating findings, consulting and collaborating with others, and adhering to ethical standards
Security Clearance Level:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
- This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows:
- U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions).
- Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
