Short Summary:
The Gartner SRE team's mission is to deliver reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing digital platforms. We are seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to advance the reliability, resilience, performance, automation, and governance of Gartner's digital platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver world-class availability, stability, and performance for digital products.
- Establish multi-CDN architecture patterns and operational standards.
- Lead CDN incident response, disaster recovery exercises, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams for edge security capabilities.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Design global traffic management policies for disaster recovery and high-availability.
- Define and monitor CDN-specific SLOs, SLIs, and KPIs.
- Participate in operational support and on-call rotations.
- Develop alerting strategies and reporting frameworks.
- Drive system design consulting and platform management.
- Establish relationships with development teams to define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Requirement:
- Expert knowledge of enterprise CDN platforms (Fastly, Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai).
- Experience in managing large-scale CDN platforms using Terraform/OpenTofu and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of edge security services.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 8+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in DevOps/SRE focusing on CDN.
