Project Responsibilities
Start embedded within the client's frontend (React) team: extend the generic React/TypeScript interpreter and component catalogue to support new field types, layouts and actions as modules migrate
Implement frontend support for the view-descriptor contract defined by the backend team
Gradually transition toward backend work over the course of the engagement, as frontend effort naturally decreases with each migrated module
Once transitioned, pick up backend tasks on simpler modules (Referenced-only / Read-only) under Lead/Backend guidance, and eventually contribute to the schema/view-descriptor layer itself
Work closely with the Lead on aligning schema, actions and permissions across the backend/frontend boundary
Support contract testing from the frontend side against golden fixtures

Сredible, hands-on experience in both Django and React — without necessarily being a deep specialist in either. This is a genuine fullstack profile, not a backend or frontend person who dabbled in the other side. The role is designed to start frontend-heavy and shift to backend over time, so the candidate should be comfortable with that trajectory and not resistant to picking up backend ownership later in the engagement.
Must-haves
Good working-level English.
4+ years of experience
Real, hands-on production experience in both Django/DRF and React/TypeScript — not resume-only exposure to one side
Comfortable working with JSON Schema / config-driven UI concepts
Willingness and ability to shift focus from frontend-heavy to backend-heavy work over the engagement
Relational data modelling, REST API design, serializers and validation.
Automated testing habits (pytest).
Reliable in a large, mature codebase; picks up existing patterns fast.
Nice-to-have
Depth in Django REST Framework; multi-tenant SaaS exposure.
Basic React / TypeScript.
Schema-, metadata-driven or JSON Schema exposure.
GRC / compliance domain experience.
