Data Warehouse Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Data Warehouse Intern to join our team. You will have the opportunity to participate in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time data warehouse systems, work with big data technologies such as Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kafka, and gain hands-on experience in real-time data processing, data modeling, and data pipeline optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time data warehouse systems.
- Develop real-time data processing jobs using Flink / Spark Streaming.
- Assist in designing real-time data models and building layered data warehouse architectures, including ODS, DWD, and DWS.
- Integrate real-time data sources such as Kafka and MySQL Binlog.
- Assist in optimizing real-time processing performance to ensure data timeliness, accuracy, and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and support data quality monitoring.
Requirements
1. Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL, with hands-on experience in data processing.
- Familiar with fundamental data warehouse concepts, including dimensional modeling and layered architecture.
- Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Scala.
- Available for at least 4 days per week, with a minimum internship commitment of 3 months.
2. Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Flink or Spark Streaming.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Kafka, Doris, ClickHouse, Hudi, or Iceberg.
- Understanding of MySQL Binlog and Change Data Capture (CDC) data synchronization.
- Previous internship or project experience in data warehousing or big data engineering.
