Mid-Market Account Executive

Freshworks has officially crossed $1B in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), combining the scale and stability of an established SaaS leader with the growth opportunities, innovation, and momentum of a company continuing to expand.

We're looking for a driven, consultative Mid-Market Account Executive to join our growing sales team in our Downtown Boston office. You'll own the full sales cycle, build relationships with prospective customers, and help organizations modernize their IT and customer experience operations.

In this role, you'll sell to mid-market organizations with approximately 500-1,000 employees, managing a portfolio of prospective accounts and closing opportunities that typically range from $25K - $40K in annual contract value, with larger six-figure deals possible. You'll take ownership of building and advancing your pipeline through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and strong customer relationships, while leveraging Freshworks' expanding product portfolio to create new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage opportunities from prospecting and discovery through solution development, negotiation, and close, consistently driving new business revenue.
• Build and Convert Pipeline: Proactively identify and engage prospective customers, develop new business opportunities, and leverage internal resources to build a healthy, qualified pipeline.
• Lead Consultative Sales Conversations: Understand customer challenges, uncover business needs, and build compelling business cases that demonstrate the value of Freshworks solutions.
• Navigate Multiple Stakeholders: Build relationships with IT leaders, business decision-makers, and executive stakeholders to move opportunities forward and drive successful outcomes.
• Engage Customer Directly: Combine virtual selling with in-person customer meetings to strengthen relationships and advance strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective sales strategies and customer experiences.
• Own Your Results: Maintain a healthy pipeline, accurately forecast revenue, and consistently execute against sales targets.

What You'll Bring

• 3-5+ years of full-cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota
• Strong Sales Fundamentals: Proven ability to prospect, lead discovery, manage objections, negotiate, and close new business
• Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to understand customer challenges, articulate business value, and navigate multiple stakeholders throughout the sales process
• Pipeline Generation Mindset: You're proactive about building opportunities and comfortable balancing inbound leads with outbound prospecting
• Ownership & Drive: You're competitive, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accountability, execution, and results matter
• Collaborative Approach: You work effectively with internal teams and bring curiosity, energy, and a willingness to continuously improve

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday) from our Downtown Boston, MA office.

Compensation & Benefits:

• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000 - $260,000, inclusive of base salary and target variable compensation (50/50 split)
• Earning Potential: Opportunity to earn additional compensation through performance-based commission accelerators
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, equity opportunities, and paid time off
