Marketing Manager
Marketing Manager
The opportunity
Wealth transfer advice has never scaled. Families with complex estates still get advice assembled from documents, memory, and meetings—while the software around them was built for the mass market. This role owns the marketing system that makes a new category obvious to wealth advisors, trust and estate attorneys, and family offices, and turns that attention into qualified pipeline.
It is a hands-on, high-ownership seat. You will set the narrative, run the programs that reach considered buyers, and prove what works with closed-loop measurement—not vanity metrics.
Performance objectives
- Define and ship a category narrative that advisors, attorneys, and multi-family offices can repeat, and that sales uses in live conversations within the first quarter.
- Build a demand engine—owned, earned, and paid—that produces a measurable share of sourced and influenced pipeline against agreed targets.
- Stand up marketing measurement: funnel definitions, campaign taxonomy, UTM governance, and dashboards leadership actually runs on (pipeline, CAC, conversion by channel).
- Run lifecycle email and paid programs (search and LinkedIn first) with conversion tracking, disciplined tests, and clear scale-or-stop rules.
- Turn customer proof into assets—case stories, demos, and landing pages—that shorten sales cycles for wealth, tax, and legal buyers.
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success so launches, enablement, and campaigns move as one motion, reviewed monthly against revenue outcomes.
Environment and resources
You report into go-to-market leadership on a small team where marketing, product, and customer success sit close together. Core stack includes HubSpot, GA4, and the major paid platforms; design and content are partners, not a distant agency. Budget is real but scrutinized—you own allocation and the monthly reporting rhythm. NYC office with a strong in-person culture; remote is supported. Subject-matter experts in wealth strategy are in the building when the message has to be precise.
Essential qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on B2B marketing in SaaS or another considered purchase, with ownership of pipeline—not just activity.
- You have built or rebuilt measurement: attribution, campaign tracking, and closed-loop reporting tied to revenue.
- In-platform experience running Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, including conversion tracking you set up yourself.
- Email craft you will do yourself: segmentation, nurture, deliverability, and testing.
- Writing and positioning sharp enough for sophisticated financial and legal audiences; regulated-category experience is a plus.
- Bias to action: you ship, read the numbers, and change the plan without waiting for a larger team.
Why this role
- You will build the digital marketing foundation of a category still being defined—and see the effect in pipeline every week.
- Work sits next to founders and GTM leaders, not several layers away from the customer.
- Customers are the firms that already set the standard in private wealth, tax, and law—your work has to earn that room.
- Full employee health coverage, dependent coverage support, four weeks PTO, parental leave, 401(k), and wellness, commuter, and learning stipends.
Apply
If you want to own the story and the system that gets a hard category adopted—and you would rather show the dashboard than describe the brand—apply. Bring the work that moved pipeline.
